Frequently asked questions about the CAP Explorer

Updated on 20.10.2026

Short answers to questions that often come up in the CAP Explorer. The detailed explanation is on the linked page in each case.

Why do I not see an Impressions dashboard yet?

Section titled “Why do I not see an Impressions dashboard yet?”

The Impressions dashboard appears from the second day of the first playout. For this, a visual must be assigned to the campaign. See When are the dashboards available?

Why can I not request the Performance dashboard?

Section titled “Why can I not request the Performance dashboard?”

The status below the Performance button in the Reports column shows the reason:

  • Add Products: The campaign is missing analytics products.
  • No access: Your user is not allowed to request Performance dashboards.
  • No Request button: The party that created the campaign requests it.
  • No Performance button: The campaign has not started yet (Scheduled).

See Open the dashboards.

Why can I no longer change analytics products or marketing activities?

Section titled “Why can I no longer change analytics products or marketing activities?”

The Performance dashboard has already been requested. After that, neither can be changed in the CAP Explorer. In individual cases, Cyreen Support can help: use the contact form and state the campaign name and what is wrong, for example which GTIN belongs in which analysis group.

The data in the dashboard or the export looks wrong. What can I do?

Section titled “The data in the dashboard or the export looks wrong. What can I do?”

First check:

  1. Analysis group, time period and filters: The dashboard and the Excel export show exactly the values of the current setting.
  2. Data freshness: The Impressions dashboard shows the data up to the previous day. The final performance figures are only available after the end of the campaign.

If the data still looks wrong after that, use the contact form. State the campaign name, the tab and the value that seems wrong to you.

Edit is locked when the campaign has ended (Completed) or been stopped, when it belongs to another company or when you lack the permission. The tooltip on the button names the reason, for example Not Available or No access. What you can still change in a running campaign is described in Change, stop or delete.

For loop-based campaigns, the store has no free slots left for your run time. The Available column then shows a cross. Clicking the name of the store shows on which days there is still space. See Why can I not add a visual in a store?

When you add a contact-based visual, the store list depends on the Owner field. Only the active stores of the chosen owner can be selected. Companies without an active campaign are greyed out in the Owner field («No active campaigns for this company»). Only users of Cyreen and of a tenant see the field. New with the upcoming CAP Explorer release. See Add a contact-based visual.

You only see the stores of your level in the company, see Access and permissions. Brands only see the campaigns shared with them. If a Retailer Filter is set at the bottom left, the CAP Explorer only shows this retailer, see The interface.

Either your role lacks the permission, or the area is switched off for your company, for example Data Exchange or the Listing Check. Contact the administrator of your account.

Use the contact form.
