Commissioning and acceptance

A Cyreen partner carries out the entire installation. You make sure the store is prepared and check at acceptance that everything works.

Before you start

• The trolleys and baskets are fitted with RFID tags: the trolleys in stores with data capture, trolleys and baskets in stores without data capture.
• The electrician has set up network and power for the C.A.P. system, and in stores with data capture also the cables for the RFID antennas at the checkout.

Steps

1. Installation by the Cyreen partner

   The Cyreen partner installs the LTE router, the C.A.P. screens and the area readers, and in stores with data capture also the checkout readers and multiplexers. Depending on the project, the devices are preconfigured. After installation they are ready to use.

2. Acceptance

   At acceptance, check together with the Cyreen partner:

   • All C.A.P. screens are switched on, none is black.
   • When an RFID-tagged trolley or basket passes, the advertising starts with sound.
   • No device shows visible damage.
   • Every device has a clearly visible device number.

3. Record defects

   Anything you notice is recorded together with the Cyreen partner. The acceptance is documented with the store.

Result

All devices are running, and any defects are recorded. From now on, daily operation applies. A later fault is no longer handled at acceptance: report it as described in Check and report a fault.
